Frequently asked questions
- What resolution does Seedance output?
- Usually 720p to 1080p, depending on plan and mode. Check the file's properties, then upscale only the takes you keep.
- Smart Repair or Anime for a Seedance take?
- Anime for illustrated, cel-shaded or flat-color looks; Smart Repair for realistic ones. If the take is dark and grainy, also try Night Scene. A free preview of the same seconds shows the difference.
- What is the difference between AI Slow Motion and Frame Interpolation?
- AI Slow Motion makes the clip play 2x, 4x or 8x slower. Frame Interpolation keeps the speed and raises the frame rate, at 2x, 3x or 4x or a custom rate such as 60 or 120 fps. Neither raises resolution.
- Can I upscale a whole batch of generations at once?
- Yes. Load several clips into one workspace, set the parameters on one and apply them to the rest, then Export all. Each clip goes to Task Center and renders on your computer while you do something else.
- Is my generated video uploaded anywhere?
- No. The AI processing runs on your own GPU, and your clips are not uploaded for processing — there are no per-minute cloud fees or upload queues. KwaFlux still goes online for sign-in and license checks, app updates and model downloads (plus the GPU Acceleration Component on Mac), downloading a file from a link, and the crash and diagnostic reports described in our Privacy Policy.
