What AI Audio Denoise can and cannot fix

Steady, broadband noise and room reverb respond very well. Clipped audio — where the waveform was distorted at recording time — can be improved but not fully un-clipped; that information was destroyed at capture. And vocal separation quality depends on the mix: dense productions separate less cleanly than a voice over a music bed. As everywhere in KwaFlux, the preview-first workflow lets you hear the result on your own material before committing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can it remove background noise from a video directly?

Yes. Point the denoising module at the video file itself — no need to extract the audio track first. The cleaned soundtrack is re-attached on export.

What is dereverberation?

It removes the room echo baked into recordings made in untreated spaces — hallways, conference rooms, empty apartments — so the voice sounds close and clear instead of distant and hollow.

Can I separate vocals from background music?

Yes. Vocal separation splits a mixed track into vocals and accompaniment. Use it to isolate dialog buried under music, or to extract an instrumental bed. Separation quality depends on how dense the original mix is.

Will it fix distorted or clipped audio?

Partially. Clipping destroys information at the moment of recording, so it can be softened but not fully reversed. Noise and reverb, by contrast, respond very well — preview on your own file to hear exactly what you'll get.

Is my footage uploaded to the cloud?

No. The AI processing runs on your own GPU and your media files are not uploaded — there is no queue and no per-minute cloud fee. The network is used only for sign-in and license checks (needed to export on a paid plan) and for updates.

Can I try it before buying?
