Frequently asked questions
- Is this a full editor for social cuts?
- No. KwaFlux has no timeline, so cutting and storytelling stay in your editor. Use it to convert, repair and steady the clips before or after the edit.
- Can I run several clips through the same settings?
- Yes. Load the clips into one workspace, set the parameters on one, apply them to the rest and Export all. The Converter also takes a whole folder at once.
- Is my footage uploaded anywhere?
- No. The AI processing runs on your own GPU, and your clips are not uploaded for processing — there are no per-minute cloud fees or upload queues. KwaFlux still goes online for sign-in and license checks, app updates and model downloads (plus the GPU Acceleration Component on Mac), downloading a file from a link, and the crash and diagnostic reports described in our Privacy Policy.
- Will KwaFlux translate or transcribe my captions?
- No. Subtitle Edit places, styles and exports the SRT or ASS files you bring, whether they come from a translator or you typed them yourself.
- Do I need to upscale every social download?
- No. Repair crushed clips first and enlarge only when the platform or client asks for a bigger frame. A sharp vertical clip doesn’t need a 4K master.
