Frequently asked questions
- What resolution are Kling exports?
- Usually 720p to 1080p, depending on plan and mode. Check the file's properties, then pick the output resolution your delivery needs.
- Can I upscale Kling clips with people in them?
- Yes. Smart Repair restores faces as part of the pass, so there is no separate portrait setting. Preview a close-up and a fast move before you export.
- Should I interpolate before or after upscaling?
- After. Repair and size the clip first so the new frames are built from clean ones, then run Frame Interpolation on that file. Interpolation does not raise resolution.
- Can I upscale a whole batch of generations at once?
- Yes. Load several clips into one workspace, set the parameters on one and apply them to the rest, then Export all. Each clip goes to Task Center and renders on your computer while you do something else.
- Is my generated video uploaded anywhere?
- No. The AI processing runs on your own GPU, and your clips are not uploaded for processing — there are no per-minute cloud fees or upload queues. KwaFlux still goes online for sign-in and license checks, app updates and model downloads (plus the GPU Acceleration Component on Mac), downloading a file from a link, and the crash and diagnostic reports described in our Privacy Policy.
