The short answer

AI Image Enhancer is KwaFlux's stills workbench: five quality-repair types (output 1x up to 4K), portrait cutout, object cutout/removal, and folder batches. Processing runs on your local GPU — your images are not uploaded. After download, 1s/3s/5s previews run without an account; export needs a paid plan (monthly $29.99, quarterly $49.99, yearly $79.99, or Perpetual $199.99 — see pricing).

Modules in the stills workbench

  • Image quality repair (5 types) — compression, noise, soft focus, and general damage, with output from 1x up to 4K
  • Portrait cutout — person-aware extraction with hair and edge handling
  • Object cutout / removal — extract a marked object, or erase a marked object/person and fill the hole
  • Batch folders — apply the same recipe to a whole archive or product set

What it cannot do

  • A thumbnail cannot become a true billboard — 4K output still depends on what the source actually contains
  • Severe blur where the subject is unrecognizable is beyond honest recovery
  • This is stills, not video — clips belong in the video modules, not this workbench

How to enhance a photo

  1. Import a still or point at a folder after you download KwaFlux
  2. Pick a repair type, set output 1x–4K, and compare a 1s/3s/5s preview against the original
  3. Export on a paid plan (pricing), or run portrait/object cutout when you need an extraction

Frequently asked questions

Can I export the enhanced photo without paying?

No. Entering a workspace and rendering 1-, 3-, and 5-second effect previews is free and needs no account, but export requires signing in with a paid plan: monthly $29.99, quarterly $49.99, yearly $79.99, or a Perpetual License at $199.99. Current prices are on the pricing page. Files stay on your machine; your images are not uploaded.

Is portrait cutout the same as object removal?

No. Portrait cutout keeps a person with hair-aware edges. Object cutout keeps a marked object. Object and portrait removal are separate: they erase the mark and fill the hole instead of extracting the subject.
